Sick/Snow Day

On the rare occasions when I sleep until almost noon, it's usually because I have been sick the night before. Today is no different. Look for updates later today.

But, briefly, we had a nasty snowstorm yesterday. I had to walk in it yesterday to attend an event and, for the first time in my life, experienced that painful headache commonly known as "brain-freeze" from the outside of my head.

More later.

I know it must be difficult to live in, but I wish it would snow in Los Angeles sometimes.

Hope you feel better.

When you don't have it, surprisingly you miss that first freak snowstorm. I used to love how quiet downtown NoHo would get. You could walk in the middle of Main Street and everything was so muffled and all that pristine white.

Don't miss the arctic blasts of wind or the cold wet feet though. Sorry you're not feeling well. Try chicken soup - it really works even if you just have a bag of ramen noodles. Actually I recommend it be ramen noodles. I think there's some chemical in the flavoring that cures you.
