Behold, the power of Google!

The hit counter seems to be getting a workout today, as The Exile surpasses its daily average prior to 11:00 a.m.

Apparently, my prior post on the whole South Park/Scientology imbroglio makes the first page of a lot of searchs for the terms "south park," "chef," and "Scientology". Cool.

In other news, I have been wicked busy this week. It started to slow a bit, so look for more posting soon.

I love it when that happens. It's like a little present from the internet gods.

I'm having a similar experience just by teasing a commenter at the DetNews blog and by mentioning Maureen Dowd's column. I have more hits today on my new blog than I ever had in one day with the old one.

Now let's see if they come back tomorrow.

Woo-hooo! 84 posts on my mediocre little blog over there today. Looking at it now, those people were looking for posts that were among the most lame entries I've written since I started. My temporary excitement has been replaced with remorse. This must be how it feels to be a network TV executive.
